The first church service is held in the Y.M.C.A.

Rev. J. DeJong leads the first service preaching on Romans 1:10.
June 12, 1949
Rev. P.J. Hoekstra accepts the call to begin Home Missions work with immigrants in Southern Alberta.
June 20, 1949
The Christ Trinity Lutheran Chapel (320 - 11 St. S) is purchased by the Home Mission Board for $14,000. The first service was held in the Chapel on July 3, 1949. The official organization of the Lethbridge Christian Reformed Church took place on November 9, 1950.
February 21, 1953
Rev. P. J. Hoekstra turns the sod to begin the construction of a new church building on 2nd Ave. A. North.

The basement gets poured.
April 12, 1953
Rev. D.J. Scholten preaches his first sermon to the Lethbridge congregation.

Construction continues.

The parsonage gets sheeted. Rev. Scholten moves in on October 19, 1953.

The main entrance is erected.
March 29, 1956
The First CRC of Lethbridge is finished and the official opening is held.

Rev. A. Kuyvenhoven is installed as pastor.

Rev. J. Vriend is installed as pastor.
August 30, 1970
Rev. L. Mulder is installed as pastor.
October 14, 1977
Rev. J.Tuininga is installed as pastor.
July, 1992
The council of First CRC and a large majority of
the members voted to leave the CRC to become Trinity Reformed Church.
Some, however, chose to remain as First CRC. Later, the church purchases Hardieville School and the acres surrounding it as a potential site for a new church building. Trinity becomes a founding member of the United Reformed Churches in North America(URCNA) when it was created in 1995.
1998
It is decided to build a new church at our Hardieville location. Construction begins in 1998. Pictured is one last look from the front of the church before it was sold at the end of 1999 to the Free Grace Reformed Baptist Church of Lethbridge.
